I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Although most people who see me might not think it, I am in fact 23 years old. (Laugh now, but when I’m 35 yet I still look like I’m 25, I will be the one laughing) Just this past spring I graduated from Ryerson University with a BCOM in Finance. After 4 years of school with minimal sleep, I felt that I needed to take this summer and just relax.
During the summer, with a lot of luck, I took a trip with my girlfriend (Bonnie/Kabuchan/Boosan… names are used interchangably) to JAPAN. Now to anyone who really knows me, this was literally the trip of my life. I had never wanted to go anywhere as much as I wanted to go to Japan and finally I was able to go. However what really made it memorable was the fact that I went with Bonnie *brief pause for awwww’s* Interestingly, this was also the first time I ever went on an airplane, partly because my parents are not the type that enjoys travelling and partially because I hate heights.
After returning from our vacation (we went for 14 days in May), I decided to take the rest of the summer off to relax, which I have been happily doing. However as summer has now officially come to a close with the kiddies returning to school and all, it is now time for me to venture back into the working force, now on a full time basis.
Quick List of random stuff about me
- I collect Transformers, Gundams and DVD’s
- I have the PS3, Wii (both Japanese and American) and Xbox360 however PS3 was essentially purchased to watch Blu-Ray movies and the Xbox360 for HD DVDs
- I have 1 dog named Hikari (Kari for short), she’s a mix between a poodle and a Lhasa Apso and although she’s 4 years old, she is completely untrained (she just won’t listen!)
- I met Bonnie at the CNE (big annual carnival in Toronto) when we both worked there and we have been together for just a bit over 6 years. While we didn’t go to high school together, we were fortunate to go to the same university
- I worked part time for the now bankrupt CompuSmart computer/electronic store as a sales associate during university
- I really enjoy photography, but I still have a lot to learn as I only started in January of this year when I purchased the Sony A100k
- While I want to travel to several other places around the world, I really want to go back to Japan first
